Stuart defeats Arthur County 51-12 to advance to the Class D6 semifinals next week! The Broncos will take on the winner of Silver Lake vs. Hay Springs with a trip to the Kearney on the line.

The 2024 NSAA Girls Volleyball Subdistrict brackets have been released! West Holt will travel to Crofton to take on Lutheran High Northeast in the first game of the Class C2-6 Subdistrict on Monday, Oct. 28 to kick off its postseason.
Update from Class C Girls State Golf in North Platte. After day one, the Huskies sit in a tie for third place as a team with a score of 376. Sophomore Daleni Knust leads all Husky scorers with an 88, which puts her in 11th place individually going into day two.
The West Holt girls golf team received their state send-off today! The Huskies will play in the Class C State Golf Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 14 and 15 in North Platte. Tee times and other additional info can be found at https://nsaahome.org/girls-golf/.

A ribbon-cutting was held by the Atkinson Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Sept. 27 for “Over the Moon Child Care” to celebrate the opening of the newest childcare facility in Atkinson.
Chelsey Moon, the owner of “Over the Moon”, has had over five years of experience in the childcare business, and is excited to use her talents to help out the community of Atkinson by doing what she loves.
“I have always enjoyed working with children,” Moon said. “I love being able to spend that extra time with my own children when they’re young, while simultaneously watching other children develop. I also know that daycare is certainly a necessity no matter where you go.”
