This butterfly was painted by a local artist and is in the alley between the State Farm office building and the Atkinson Family Chiropractic building. The butterflies are being sponsored by Keating Resources.
A funeral service for Sister Maureen Murphy, age 90, of Alliance, Neb. will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Alliance. Father Matt Koperski and Father Tim Stoner will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A wake service will be Wednesday, June 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. A funeral service for David L. Curley, age 67, of Wayne, Neb. and formerly of Atkinson, will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Wayne. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Wayne. Interment will be at the Craig Cemetery at Craig. A funeral service for Ryan Charles Keogh, age 43, of Atkinson, Neb. will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Community Church in O’Neill. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Atkinson Fire Hall. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery at Atkinson.
