David Armstrong, who will be an 8th grade student at West Holt Public Schools enrolled in FCCLA because he felt the program encouraged youth to be resourceful in the way they live and to care for each other.
For that reason Armstrong decided his STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) project would be Pay It Forward and he would collect money for the Atkinson-Stuart Food Pantry which today has grown to include over 180 families using its services, including his own.
