Spurs, cowboy hats, cowboy jargon and food, bowls and bowls of food showed up for the barbecue held in honor of the two cowboys who are riding 1,000 miles to Mount Rushmore. They had stopped at the Oregon Trail RV Park on Thursday evening, July 1 to spend the night.
Owners of the RV Park Tammy and Darryl Klippenstein organized the round-up and invited all the neighbors and RV guests to come and bring a side dish. The Klippensteins furnished brats, deer dogs and barbecued chicken.
