Landowners who had fire damage to their land last week can complete paper work and possibly have their assessed value adjusted according to Holt County Assessor Tim Wallinger.
“Landowners need to complete the paper work by July 15,” Wallinger said. “We will determine how many acres burned on each parcel. If that damage exceeds 20% of a parcel’s assessed value we can adjust the assessed value for 2021.”
