The West Holt Lady Husky volleyball team drew the third seed at the C2-10 subdistrict volleyball tournament at Summerland High School. The team will play on October 24 at 7 p.m. against the second seeded, Elkhorn Valley.

NVC Volleyball Tournament
The West Holt volleyball team traveled to Elgin for the first round of the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament on Monday night.
The Lady Huskies got the win over CWC 25-6, 25-12, 25-14 (3-0).
In second round action West Holt defeated Elgin Public/Pope John, 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22 (3-1).
The Stuart Lady Broncos hosted conference volleyball last night and drew a bye for the first round.
In the second round Stuart defeated Niobrara/Verdigre, 26-24, 25-11, 25-16 (3-0)
Tonight, the West Holt Lady Huskies will take on the Stuart Lady Broncos at 7:30 p.m. at O’Neill St. Mary’s.

A funeral service for Marian M. Cook, age 82, will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Atkinson.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Atkinson.

A celebration of life service for Robert Dean Burge, age 76, of rural Amelia, Neb., will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in O’Neill.
