On Tuesday, March 26th representatives of Michael Foods presented a check to the junior high and high school Trojan basketball teams at the school.
Brady Weaver and Joe Brown were on hand from Michael Foods to present the teams with a check for $1,609.00 as part of the program that rewards teams for their on the court or field performances throughout the season.
They are awarded $1 dollar per ace serve of a volleyball game, $6 per touchdown during a football game, and $3 dollars for each three pointing during the basketball season.
“The Wakefield Athletic Department and Wakefield Community Schools are grateful for the continued support of our athletes and teams at our school that has been graciously provided by Michael Foods” said Wakefield’s Athletic Director Matt Brenn.
