Dam Racers from near and far gathered for a picture at the end of the 2022 Crofton Dam Race in downtown Crofton this past Saturday.

The 2022 Crofton Seniors baseball team competed in the Area Tournament this past week with games starting on July 22 with a win over Neligh, July 23 with a loss  to PWG, July 24 with a win over Ord and a July 25 second loss to PWG, knocking the local team out of the tournament. They started their National History Day project in October of 2021 and advanced from the local, regional, and state levels to participate in nationals.

Ben Hegge was on the mound for the Bluejays in the early innings of Sunday night's big Independence weekend game against Wynot.
Crofton Legion Juniors hold a meeting on the mound during a timeout in the seventh inning in Scribner last Wednesday night, June 22 against Hooper-Scribner. The Juniors wanted to get their strategy right as they held onto an 8-7 lead at the time. They did just that and finished for the away win.
