Plans which began in 2020 for a new clubhouse at the Crofton Lakeview Golf Course will become a reality this autumn as details continue to fall into place.

Golf board President Brian Goeden and fellow board members shared what the new structure will offer golfers beginning with the 2026 season.

The 60 x 80 square foot building will replace the existing clubhouse which is scheduled for demolition in September 2025 at the end of golf season.

The structure will have a food preparation area with ample electrical outlets, a pro shop, office, a larger area for social gatherings, a larger bar and an outdoor covered patio spanning two sides of the building. There will be a basement parking area for golf cart rentals.

General contractor for the project is Triple Time Builders with an estimated cost of $1.4 million. With the demolition and main construction expected to be completed this fall, the subcontracting work and finishing will accomplished during the winter months in time for next year’s season to begin in April.

Board members stated that the exterior will have a rustic appearance which they feel will be a beautiful addition to the lake area along with a welcome gathering place for golf enthusiasts.
