Candace Schmidt, Ponca Tribal Chairwoman, presented plans to the Niobrara Village Board at its regular meeting, Tuesday, July 8, for a new tribal museum and cultural center at Niobrara. The Chief Standing Bear Cultural Center will be located in the same areas as the Ponca Powwow Grounds, three miles southwest of town. Read more in this week's Tribune.
