West Holt Public Schools superintendent Paul Pistulka released new information in the form of a letter to the school patrons about COVID-19 and schedule updates to the school’s schedule.

Included in the letter was the following.
West Holt Public Schools and 20 other area schools met with North Central, Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department, and Educational Service Unit 8 to discuss schools’ protocols and adjustments that have been made in response to increasing COVID-19 cases.
In accordance with guidance from North Central and Elkhorn Logan Valley Health Departments, schools are announcing they will plan to keep students in the school building and attending class in person as much, and as long as possible.
At West Holt Public Schools, we continue to have limited numbers of positive COVID-19 cases in our school building. At no single time during this school year have we had more than 1.75% of our entire school population positive for COVID-19.
